Seniors

As Americans live longer, growth in the number of older adults is unprecedented.  In 2014, 14.5 % (46.3 million) of the US population was aged 65 or older and projected to reach to 23.5% 998 million) by 2060.

We at the Big Mama's Safe House offer our food pantry, heaters and fans throughout the year for our older adults in the community. We have also offer education on medication safety, fall prevention and mental well-being.
